Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is thinking about shifting its away from home venue to Malaysia. Giving an interview to geo tv, Chairman of PCB Najam Sethi told that, They are considering of shifting their away from home venue from UAE to Malaysia. He said because of new emerging leagues, PCB is really finding it difficult to get booking of Dubai Cricket Stadium, Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Abu Dabhi cricket stadium for their international calender Schedule. Having Pakistan Super League (PSL) also played in UAE makes it more difficult to get empty slots.
Najam Sethi informed that he is going to Malyasia in coming days to witness the situation and playing conditions of stadiums in Malaysia and said that if there is a work needed , they will think about making them appropriate for international cricket.
Having cricket coming back to Pakistan and recent international matches played in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and planning to have a Final of PSL 2018 in National Stadium Karachi may have load off some burden from away home venues. PCB can urge other teams to play in Pakistan or have full season of PSL 2019 in Pakistan
